Before Dan Vetras became the CEO of Visible Technologies, he has held many other key positions in the technological community. He was the CEO of Talisma and Captura Software, where he engineered successful merger and acquisitions of both companies. He has also served with Cisco, IBM acquisition Edmark, and the Lotus Development Company. Dan Vetras launched his high-tech career at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Service to the Community
Dan Vetras is an active contributor to many worthy causes. He is currently involved with Eastside Catholic School in Bellevue, Washington, the Boys and Girls Club of America in Bellevue, Northwest Harvest, American International College, Hopelink, and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
About Dan Vetras
A graduate of the American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts, Dan Vetras launched his career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a sales representative. Dan Vetras then moved on to the Lotus Development Corporation, serving in a variety of sales management roles. His first executive role was Vice President of Worldwide Consumer Sales and Channel Marketing for IBM when the company acquired Edmark Corporation. He was a key member of the senior management team that made Edmark one of the country's most notable brands in children's software. Dan Vetras was responsible for expanding Edmark’s distribution to approximately 9,000 retail outlets.
